Purpose – The purpose of this (5)-page procedure is to ensure that product that does not conform to specifications is identified and controlled to prevent its unintended use or dispatch to customers.
Scope – This procedure covers the management of nonconforming product where the nonconformity is detected prior to release for distribution. Rework of nonconforming product is included. This part of the procedure may be used in circumstances other than correcting a nonconformity.
